Global survey revealed that 34.5% of middle school students have tried smoking Riyadh region even once in their lives and more than 20% of them using one type of tobacco and about 11% smoked cigarettes only. The general supervisor of the programme to combat smoking, Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Albdah The survey confirms that nearly 66% of these young people have been subjected to ads stimulating the paintings of smoking propaganda, and more than 73% of whom watched the ads calling for smoking in newspapers and magazines.
He said Albdah that these figures are alarming, showing that the feet of young adolescents to experiment with the use of tobacco and cigarettes, under the influence of propaganda misleading and devious tactics of the global tobacco companies, could easily be led to the use of tobacco addiction throughout his life
